Mr. Abdullah Y Ahmed is the Emerging Technologies Program manager for Sempra Energy Utilities (Southern California Gas Company and San Diego Gas & Electric Company). He joined Sempra in October 2005. Prior to that Mr. Ahmed was the founder and president of Occidental Analytical Group a consulting engineering firm in Walnut, Ca which was involved in energy project engineering and design and planning, implementation and evaluation of energy efficiency programs. He has over 25 years of experience in the energy field. Mr. Ahmed has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Dibrugarh University, India and a Masters Degree in Engineering Management from University of Missouri-Rolla.
