Bruce Pelton is the Director of Engineering at the California Lighting Technology Center and comes with over 35 years in the lighting industry. He holds 15 issued US and Canadian Patents in the field of illumination with others awaiting allowance. In his time in the industry he has advised Lumatech, Lumenyte, Ushio, Westinghouse, Access, OptiLED and Samsung. He has served on the California Energy Efficient Appliance Task Force, California Business Roundtable, and written small business efficiency programs used by the National Restaurant Association and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. He is a Senior member of the AEE (Association of Energy Engineers), the IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) and the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers)
