J.C. Martin is Manager of Home Area Network for the Smart Meter Program Office at San Diego Gas & Electric. Mr. Martin’s focus is the implementation of Home Area Network enable by Smart Meters. This work taps into his 18 years industry experience. Mr. Martin began his energy career in the oil refining and trading business. His utility experience includes trading and scheduling of wholesale electricity, development of demand response programs and tariffs, measurement and evaluation of DSM programs as well as load research on customer energy use and demand.
