Lew Pratsch manages Building America’s Zero Energy Home Project for the U.S. Department of Energy. Under his direction, Today’s Zero Energy Homes have emerged as the ultimate in energy savings for new homes, cutting energy bills at least 50% in subdivisions--all on the path to affordable Zero Energy Homes of the future. As a Civil Engineer, he has dedicated his entire career to energy efficiency and renewable energy--first in transportation, later in renewable energy including geothermal, wind and solar, and currently in Buildings.
