Terry Clark is Chief Executive Officer for Finelite, Inc. Prior to entering the lighting industry, Mr. Clark had extensive experience in the electronic industry including test instrumentation and controls, systems sales and support and integrated circuits. Mr. Clark entered the lighting industry when he became Senior VP at Peerless Lighting in Berkeley, California. He was also Project Leader for the PIER 4.5: Classroom Research Project co-funded by the California Energy Commission and Finelite, Inc. as well as for the Finelite portion of Effective Portable Classroom Lighting Systems co-funded by Pacific Gas and Electric and Finelite, Inc. In addition, Mr. Clark was lead researcher on 4 patents or patent applications dealing with inventing a method to convert existing luminaires into cost-effective indirect lighting systems, developing low-ceiling indirect luminaires, inventing a protocol for a cost-effective ICLS, and creating the first-ever ever UL-approved feed assembly for pendant luminaires.

 

Mr. Clark has a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and received his MBA at Harvard University.
